STK 3658 1940 Ford 2 Door Sedan
This stunning 1940 Ford was professionally built to be driven and enjoyed. The Deluxe Sedan received a total restoration that included a broad range of mechanical enhancements. A beautiful two-stage coat of Dark Green w/pinstriping was applied to the classic exterior and is in overall very good condition. All chrome is in good condition and 15” 'steelies' with caps/rings mount BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The stunning grey leather interior is well designed and equipped with a power bench seat. The door cards, headliner and carpeting are all in nice shape and the dash incorporates a full complement of 'classic look' analog gauges. Other features include Sanderson A/C, power tinted windows and a traditional wheel on a tilt column. The detailed engine compartment houses a rebuilt 350ci Chevy motor - a small-block that sounds sweet and is very streetable. It is fitted with a GM aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4V carburetor, electric fuel pump, HEI ignition and stainless shorty headers that exit to a free-flowing exhaust. Everything under the hood is chrome or polished and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan manages cooling. The Chevy small-block is mated to a GM 700-R4 TurboHydramatic transmission. All electrics have been upgraded to a 12V alternator configuration and the battery has been relocated in the trunk. The solid chassis is fitted with front coils/sway bar, rack/pinion power steering, manual disc/drum brakes and a 9” Ford differential w/street gearing that is anchored by leaf springs. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
