302ci Windsor Motor 2 Door Station Wagon
STK 3834 1962 Ford Falcon Wagon
The Ford Falcon, produced from 1960 to 1970, was introduced by Ford as a compact car to compete with imports of that era from Europe. The Falcon quickly gained popularity for its practicality, reliability, and affordability. The simple yet elegant design appealed to a wide range of consumers seeking economical transportation. This handsome 1962 Falcon 2-door wagon is a very rare, unique Falcon model and has been the beneficiary of a top-shelf 5-year restoration w/mechanical upgrades (2000). This wagon is literally one-of-kind, a retro-showpiece that has also been driven over 3,500 miles since the restoration. The laser-straight body was carefully prepped and professionally reshot in Ford Baffin Blue/White, a beautiful finish. All of the chrome and stainless trim is new/repolished and stunning 17” Ridler chrome rims (8.5”f/10”r) mount virtually new radials. The Blue/White vinyl 'Mustang Pony' bucket seat interior is in outstanding condition and a perfect complement for this wagon. The front seats fold nicely for easy entry into the rear and a custom console holds the shifter and a digital AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo controller. This premium sound system is equipped with a Rockwell amp and eight speakers plus a removable rear 'tailgating' speaker. There is a tilt steering column, custom wheel and custom dash gauge bezel with white-faced gauges.
The original 'Mileage-Maker Six' has been replaced with a 302ci Windsor motor that has been built. It sits in a spotless engine compartment and looks better than a factory installation. The Windsor is equipped with aluminum intake, Holley 4V carburetor, serpentine belt system w/200-amp alternator and tube headers to a custom Flowmaster exhaust system. It has a mild street cam, a 6-quart oil pan and cooling is managed by an aluminum radiator. The Windsor is backed by a Ford AOD automatic transmission and Mustang differential/rear suspension. The chassis is equipped with a Ford Cobra 16:1 steering box, manual disc/drum brakes and a new 11-gal fuel tank. Check out the photos again – this is a unique Blue Oval that will be the hit-of-the-show – a classic 'Falcon/Mustang' SUV. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”
