Restored 2014 New Dakota Dash Gauges
STK 2696 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible
The 1973 model year was the final version of the original pony car. The Mustang brand was migrated to the econ-Mustang II for the '74 model year. Most folks agree that this idea was not one of Ford's best decisions. That said, our classic 1973 Mustang convertible is a great example of this stylish Gen I convertible. It was the recipient of a careful restoration in 2014 and is a low-mileage machine that is likely to have been in good condition before the restoration. (The owner believes that the mileage shown, 108k, is actual.) The two-stage Deep Blue finish is accented by 16” American Racing alloy wheels that mount Hercules radial tires in good condition. The cream vinyl interior is original appearance except for a new Dakota Digital dash cluster and new wood rimmed wheel. Our Mustang was equipped with factory air and all working components are new w/R134 charge. Other features include new upholstery, new carpeting, an AM/FM stereo and tinted windows. A total end-to-end wiring package has been installed and the vinyl convertible top is like new. This Mustang is powered by a 302ci (F-code) that our owner states is the matching-numbers engine, rebuilt in 2014. It is fitted with a polished aluminum intake, 500cfm Summit Racing 4-barrel carburetor and engine appearance package. The 3-speed FMX automatic feeds a stock differential with factory gearing. Upgrades to the suspension include new power steering hoses, new brake pads/shoes (power disc/drum brakes) and new shocks (rear air). The current owner of this stunning 'Hoss' is now ready to pass it on to a new owner - why not you? ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
