Stk 2388 1957 Ford Fairlane500 Skyliner
This fully restored 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner is a beautiful example of a hardtop/convertible concept that was decades ahead of its time. This is a very collectible model as only 13,000 were produced. This particular Skyliner is very special because it is 'complete' - finding replacement parts for this unusual model can sometimes be difficult. The previous owner cared for this classic for 31 years. The Skyliner received a professional re-spray of the original Blue/White colors in 2009. It sports a continental tire kit, rear fender skirts and newly re-chromed bumpers. Wide-white bias ply tires are mounted on 14" steel wheels with factory correct hubcaps. The interior was also completely restored back to original. All of the individual interior components are very sharp, including the seats, dashboard, carpeting and door panels. Comfort and safety options include AM radio, power steering and power hardtop. This Fairlane 500 is powered by a rebuilt Y-block 'Thunderbird' 312ci V8 rated at 245hp with a single Holley 4V carb. A 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic gearbox supplies torque to a factory differential with stock gearing. Brakes are huge 11" drums. Come take a close look at this beautiful, original Skyliner - it belongs in your Blue Oval garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
