STK 3833 2002 Ford Thunderbird
The first Thunderbird rolled off the assembly line on September 9, 1954. Many configurations of that initial model followed, but this 2002 Thunderbird honors the classic roots. Eleventh generation T'birds were based on Ford's 'DEW' platform that was used worldwide on mid-sized models. This totally original 2-owner roadster is a garage-kept example of this modern luxury sports car (current owner 20 years). The car's odometer reads just over 18,000 miles. Both the Thunderbird Blue exterior, accented by factory chrome alloys that mount Michelin premium radials, and the Thunderbird Black/Blue Imola leather interior are in excellent condition. The T'Bird has two tops, a manual soft-top and fiberglass hardtop. This Thunderbird is equipped with variable-assist power steering (new pump), ventilated ABS disc brakes and a host of other safety and convenience features including dual airbags, climate-controlled A/C, 6-way power driver seat and 2-way power passenger seat. Additional features include power tinted windows, tilt/telescopic wheel, power locks, keyless entry, cruise, anti-theft, and a premium AM/FM/CD sound system. This beautiful roadster is powered by Ford's 3.9L fuel injected V-8 that produces 280bhp @ 6,000RPM. The high-revving engine is an all-aluminum DOHC design with 4-valves per cylinder and is backed by a 5-speed/AOD automatic transmission and Traction Control differential. This is a classy Thunderbird to enjoy everyday, especially if those days are in the mountains or at the beach. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”
