STK 3772 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS
It is not easy to find a solid Gen2 Chevy II. Nice ones are scarce indeed, but this 1966 Nova sport coupe is an outstanding example of this classic. Based on the VIN number (11837...), our Nova left the factory in September ,1965 as a somewhat rare model – a 'Super Sport' V-8, and it has also been the beneficiary of a careful restoration. The factory Lemonwood Yellow exterior (Y code) was professionally reshot in a 2-stage finish and all chrome/stainless trim is in excellent condition. GM rally wheels (added at a later date) mount 14” redline Coker radials and Nova SS badging complete the exterior package. A restored black interior includes new vinyl upholstery and carpeting, a deluxe woodgrain/alloy wheel, SS console, tinted windows and aftermarket AM/FM/ stereo system. The 327ci/275hp engine appears to be the original motor based on the engine stamp F0925ZD. This engine was the base 327 engine option offered in the '66 Nova model - code L30. It is said to have been completely rebuilt and is equipped with a GM cast-iron intake that mounts a 4-barrel carburetor and GM 'rams horn' exhaust manifolds that exit to a custom dual exhaust system. It has also been dressed with chrome accessories that were available on the 327/350hp/L79. This small-block is mated to a 2-speed Powerglide automatic gearbox and factory differential w/casting date of September 21, 1965. A solid chassis is fitted with power steering and power drum brakes. This rare Nova SS is a beautiful original example of one of Chevy's best - an affordable '60s Bowtie classic for your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
